Opening original post, then using space bar...

It seems that when I opened the Original post, using the plus sign next to it above the edit window I was writing a reply, if during typing, I hit the space bar, the original post opened and closed.

I can see why it might happen - if the control is selected then hitting space will activate the expand collapse functionality.

The site is cool and I haven't found anything else so far,

I work hard to avoid multiple editing and thereafter multiple Email notifications.
I just wanted that todat i submitted posts only once but entered in edit post multiple times. Did it provoke multiple Emal notifications?

Using the possibility of this Email notification, I'd like to mention:
1)
my PC remembers login password but it is not inserted during login at this site;
2)(very very connected with "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE")
When I copy&paste from external editor,
I cannot override or get rid of formatting from there in this site's editor (well, in Rich Text Editor, I promise to use Basic Editor further on).
It is also not shown correctly.

But I swear swear swear to remember using next times "Preview" functionality before "Update"
(BTW, why formatting cannot be directly visualiised correctly, i.e. directly, without "Preview"? I am just curious)

Yeaah, Indexing Service has dictionary of common words that are ignored in search (such as "the", "an", and very broad nontechnical terms)

I propose to add "Non-VEA/other ORM tools" (really I would like to see it as "ORM Source Components Interchange between VEA nad non-VEA tools") forum.
I do not find any similar forum running and/or alive.

BTW, suppose I would like to propose or to co-share ORM/conceptual reusable components or even the work on them (like Open Source projects).

Don't tell me that it was already answered, I read and re-read all posts.
But I would like to understand it once again and separately per se, how it would have been better to organize the team work and the interchange of such components, created in VEA, with non-VEA (I am interested in repository-based and/or project-based, at conceptual level) ORM tools, and vice versa.

Email notification per thread disappeared

I think it disappears if you are subscribed to notifications for all postings within the particular forum. In other words, you can subscribe to all or individually select the ones you want. You cannot subscribe to all by default but individually deselect some of them.

threads reappearing as unread

I observe that some threads persistently reappear as "unread" (in bold, with star on the left highlighted).
It takes some time to open them again and again just to see that apparently nothing changed there.

I noticed that as well after the upgrade. My list always say's "nothing new". I think this is all driven from the search indexing process and as such there is usually a time delay between a given post and when it is indexed. On top of that, the latest version seems to have introduced a bug in the search indexing process, so I suspect this is why we are both seeing problems.

It's on my list to investigate.

I guess, it would not, since it will require two datetime tracking - time of adding (for correct ordering/sorting with follow uped posts) and time of editing (for showing). Though I do not know site's layout/conception.

I think the underlying data model only stores creation date.

No Email notification

It is a pleasure as far as u r observer and not in resolving (like having an answers with exercises book).
Yeeh, was a tester for 1.5 year,.
The nice thing in it is that responsibility in this role is reversed but still is some kind of analytical and even creative one (in classic definition, connected to analysis, design, develpment and deployment).
And it is more stable (after sysadmin) job since depends more on enterprise's infrastructure and less on temporary development skills.

The upgrade may have helped along with a couple of other things I tweaked but there was also a very large error log that was gumming up the works.

It worked!
Might be there were difficulties due to having multiple windows open on My Settings

But no "General Information"'s field, including "Website:" is editable if to enter from "My Settings", only form "Your Account"

But the post's time shows 3:41 PM while I have 17:41. Now it is even more complicated - earlier there was uniquely changed time by the same 8 hours and now there are various shifts!

On submission of this post, I am redirected to the toppest root, i.e. list of forums, while I should see the list of posts of the same forum

I also commented on "No Email Notification"

Both first (top-) line and second-line "Discussions" return me to (default?) VEA's Discussion.

That is, if I started "Add/Edit Post" , I have no page's neither navigationit) to return to the same list of posts. I can get back thru browser's "Back" but suppose I have many windows and do not remember where I am.

Or I want to see the list of posts of "Site Questions/Comments" in another window while editing post in the same "Site Questions/Comments".
No simple way to navigate to the same/closest list of posts (or even identify where it is, if I was distracted).

shift-clicking on Discussions

menu (toppest line) "Discussions" link doesn't open separate Window but clicking on "Discussions" in second (next) line (centered one) does.
It should open additional window in both cases

I did mean primarily font size in weblog. There it is rather small and unchangeable

messagebox on opening a topic thread

Since I volunteered to be a part of the test team, I would like to report a newly appaeared feature:
having a few IE windows opened in forum, opening a post causes a warning (! in trieangle) client-side messagebox (separate from window):
"It appears that your menu dll is out of sync with your script file. OK"

Thogh it may be specific situation and with specific PC but I think in any possible case it doesn't have much sense to client user

Ths is (bug) report, it is asyncronous, no answer needed.
