It seems that when I opened the Original post, using the plus sign next to it above the edit window I was writing a reply, if during typing, I hit the space bar, the original post opened and closed.

I can see why it might happen - if the control is selected then hitting space will activate the expand collapse functionality.

The site is cool and I haven't found anything else so far,
