installing NORMA
Posted: 27 Jul 06 6:42 AM

I have installed SQL Server 2005 developer edition with a version of VS 2005 for SQL Server. I have installed NORMA as well. When I try to create a project for an ORM solution I get only XML code for a model and no modeling diagrams. Can NORMA be installed with this version of VS 2005 or will we need the complete (Mucho $) developers edition of VS?

Hi Allan,

I'm guessing you will need to install a version of VS and not just the IDE that comes with SQL 2005.

I'm not sure if the NORMA devs track these forums, you might want to post on the sourceforge site (http://sourceforge.net/projects/orm/). If you figure out how to get a login, let me know. I tried several times a few weeks ago and never got the promised confirmation e-mail.

Scot.

I have not gotten a reply as either. That’s why I posted here. I will continue to look for login to Sourceforge but for now I put VEA on my new laptop so I can continue with ORM. Thanks for the reply.
